Recent question: Anyone play a Larrivee? I have a d-03. Many guitar players have played mine and the comments are always excellent.
Answers:
1-I don't own a Larrivee, but they are definitely high on my list of guitars to seriously look into if I'm ever looking for a mid/high end acoustic/electric. The models I've played have been outstanding.
2-I do not own one myself but I have played them quite a bit. If they were a little more readily available, I would probably own one by now. They are superb guitars and they can hold there own with any acoustic out there.
3-I own one and love it. Great guitars. what more is there to say
They sound like another great Canadian guitar. I would love to try one if I ever come across a dealer. They get talked up a lot in the Acoustic Guitar Forum.
4-I tried them out years ago when I was acoustic shopping and eventually bought my Seagull.
5-I remember them being nice guitars and I think I favored them a little more than similarly priced Taylors of the time (9 or 10 years ago).Unlike so many years ago, it's a good thing that we have so many great choices of quality sub-$1000 acoustics these days and Larrivee is yet another option in those choices.
6-I used to own a Larrivee parlor guitar. This was back when they went for around $450 new. The last time I checked you can't get one of those for less than $1000 now. It was a well crafted guitar made out of nicely selected woods. It had a good sound too of course. I've mostly heard good things about Larrivee guitars from other players as well. They have a good reputation.
7-I have an Art & Lutherie (also Canadian made) Ami parlor sized guitar now that I actually prefer to the Larrivee.
Canadians know how to make good guitars.
8- I really like my D03 the clear pick gaurd is one of the finest signatures I have seen with an acoustic. My Larrivee has the clear gaurd.

Used Larrivee Acoustic Guitars
According to our statistics many people are looking for used Larrivee acoustic guitars. This doesn't suprise me at all. This musical instrument brand is being recognized as a leader in the industry. In the church that I attend their are great guitar players who have played mine and they rave about the tone, especially the bottom end. The first time I played the D03 model I fell in love with it. Not just because it fit my budget but because the acoustic guitar sound is comparable to a top of the line Martin.

Larrivee Guitars are the finest hand made instruments that can be played in my opinion. I have played several other brands of acoustic guitars and have always came back to the Canadian made beauty. There are so many models and brands to pick from, hut when they are played within a guitar shop that sells Larrivee's there is not much competition, unless of course there is a Martin or two in the same store.
